Northern Vegans was founded by seven original members: Ken Damro,
Kevin and LuAnne Crupi, David and Natasha Gill, and Jeff and
Carrie Plummer.  As vegans living in the Upper Peninsula/Northwoods
region, we were craving a forum to socialize with other like-minded
people and to help educate interested individuals in the benefits
of a vegan lifestyle.  Northern Vegans had its first official outing
in May of 2006.

Current board members are Kevin Crupi, LuAnne Crupi, Natasha Gill,
Sue Holtzmann, Jeff Plummer, and Carrie Plummer.

Group members all come from different backgrounds and have diverse
perspectives but share the goal of fostering a healthy and compassionate
society.  Our hope is to continue growing both as a group and as
individuals in our pursuit of a more ideal way of life.
